Positive: Impressed with the way the old villa had been sectioned off. The whole place was roomy and had a good feel to it. Lovely quiet street and a nice walk to Maungawhea and Mt Eden village. We were very comfortable thanks.
Negative: The following did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay but are some helpful comments to the owners should they wish to improve the place..... No message received by either phone or email re door key code but I got instant help when I rang. The entrance looks dismal mainly because the front lawn needs a make-over and some garden furniture would be nice too as the tree gives wonderful shade. There was no tea-pot. We NZers love our tea! There was no broom or dustpan and brush so we couldn't tidy up. The TV was not operational - just on the floor leaning against the wall. No towel rails by the sink - just ordinary unheated ones would be fine.
